• Day trip to Chartres – guided exploration of the Cathedral and Mass
• Free time
• Return to Paris in time for dinner

DAY 6: Sunday 23 September – Via Versailles & Rouen to Lisieux

• Depart Paris – travel out to Versailles for guided visit of the Palace, gardens and fountains
• Journey north to Rouen – visit the cathedral
• Mass in the church built on the site where Joan of Arc was martyred; visit the Cathedral
• Late afternoon continue to Lisieux

DAY 7: Monday 24 September – Lisieux

• Half day guided visit including: family home of Les Buissonets; Carmelite Convent Chapel
• Mass in Basilica of St Therese
• Free time

• Travel west to Caen
• Visit Abbey Aux Hommes
• Continue to nearby Bayeux
• Walking orientation tour including a visit to the Cathedral
• Reboard our coach – journey to Mont- Saint-Michel

DAY 9: Wednesday 26 September – Mont-Saint-Michel

• Guided walking tour of the island including the Chapelle de Notre Dame sous Terre
• Attend chanted Mass at the Benedictine Abbey
• Free time to explore the island

DAY 10: Thursday 27 September – Mont-Saint-Michel to Guingamp

• Morning transfer west to Guingamp
• Afternoon visit Basilica of the Black Virgin
• Check in to accommodation before dinner

DAY 11: Friday 28 September – Via Saint Thegonnec & Guimiliau to Quimper

• Transfer to Saint Thegonnec
• Guided city orientation tour including the granite calvary at the Parish Close
• Continue to nearby Guimiliau – visit the Parish Close
• Journey on to Quimper – check in to hotel

DAY 12: Saturday 29 September – Via Carnac & Auray to Nantes

• Morning guided walking tour of Quimper
• Travel out to Carnac – orientation tour on arrival including view of the Menhirs and Dolmens
• Continue to Auray – orientation tour including visit to Chapelle St Anne D’Auray
• Arrive Nantes – dinner and check in to hotel

• Guided visit Chateau des Ducs de Bretagne
• Mass and guided visit in the Gothic Cathedral

• Early morning transfer to Angers
• Visit Chateau D’Anger including Tapestries of the Apocalypse and the Cathedral
• Travel to nearby Saumur
• Admire the Chateau and visit nearby Fontevraud Abbey
• Nearby Azay – visit the Chateau
• Continue to Tours – check in to hotel

DAY 15: Tuesday 2 October – Tours / Amboise / Chenonceaux

• Morning visit of Tours including Cathedral of St Gatien and Mass in St Martin’s Basilica
• Afternoon visit the Chateau and tomb of Leonardo da Vinci in nearby Amboise
• Chenonceaux – visit the Chateau
• Return to Tours in time for dinner

• Early morning departure to Blois – orientation tour and visit Royal Chateau
• Nearby Cheverny – visit Chateau and Park

• Transfer to Nevers – check in to hotel

DAY 17: Thursday 4 October – Nevers / Clermont / Gergovie / Le Puy En Velay

• Morning visit and Mass at the Convent of St Gildard; pray before the incorrupt body of St Bernadette
• Travel out to Clermont-Ferrand – visit the Cathedral of the Assumption
• Continue nearby to Gergovie where the battle occurred between Caesar and Vercingetorix
• Transfer to Le Puy en Velay – check in to hotel

• Pray at the tomb of St Thomas Aquinas
• Journey through the Pyrenees to Lourdes
• Optional candlelight procession after dinner

• Concelebrated Mass at the Grotto
• Guided walking tour of Lourdes – the sanctuary; the Boly Mill; the Parish Church; Cachot
• Free time to visit the Baths
• Optional afternoon Blessed Sacrament procession and candlelight procession after dinner

DAY 21: Monday 8 October – Carcassonne / Beziers / Montpellier / Avignon

• Those pilgrims finishing in Lourdes will fly to Paris for their home-bound connections.
• Travel east to Carcassonne – guided visit Chateau Comtal and city tour
• Continue east to Beziers – guided visit of city including the Cathedral St Nazaire
• Montpellier – Cathedral of St Pierre and tour university/medical faculty
• Continue to Avignon

DAY 22: Tuesday 9 October – Avignon / Nimes / Pont Du Gard

• Morning orientation tour and visit Palace of the Popes
• Travel out to Nimes – explore the roman arena, Tour-Magne and Maison- Carree
• Nearby Pont du Gard – orientation tour; admire the aqueduct
• Return to Avignon in time for dinner

• Transfer to nearby Orange

• Continue to Dijon

• Morning orientation tour including St Benigne Cathedral (Mass), St Michael’s Church and Notre Dame Church
• Travel out to Beaune – on arrival orientation tour and visit Hospice Musee Hotel Dieu
• Return to Dijon in time for dinner

• Journey north-east to Colmar – orientation tour on arrival
• Continue to Strasbourg – visit and Mass in Cathedral of Notre Dame

DAY 28: Monday 15 October – Bad Bergzabern / Speyer / Metz

• Travel north – cross the border into Germany
• Arrive Bad Bergzabern – city orientation tour and Mass in St Martin’s Church where St Edith Stein converted to Catholicism
• Continue north to Speyer – visit the Cathedral; St Magdalenes Cloister where Dr Edith Stein worked after her conversion
• Journey south – cross the border back into France
• Check in to hotel in Metz

DAY 29: Tuesday 16 October – Via Reims & Vaux Le Vicomte to Paris

• Walking orientation tour including St Etienne Cathedral and its stained glass windows
• Journey west to Reims – orientation tour including Notre Dame Cathedral; Basilica of St Remi; winetasting at Martel (and guided tour of caves)
• Continue west to Chateau Vaux-le- Vicomte and gardens
• Arrive at hotel in Paris in time for dinner
